  • university degree in agricultural, nutrition or veterinary
  • 5+ years of experience in managing direct accounts
  • fluency in English
  • strong customer focus supported by excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • energetic and initiative personality


  • Developing and maintaining a portfolio of current and potential customers
  • Developing, proposing and implementing (agreed) sales plans for an agreed group of customers related to a specific species
  • Analyzing client needs and providing technical advice and support on farm for the agreed group of accounts
  • Effectively plan visits to (potential) customers
  • Performing ongoing market analysis, monitoring market developments including competitor activities
  • Actively gives follow up on the payment behavior of customers
  • Enlarging the client network through visiting potential customers
  • Regular contact with internal local and international colleagues to exchange know-how and ideas as part of a learning organization
  • Represents the Company in accordance with De Heus guideline
